The internet has been down for 2 days, so havent had a chance to update since Friday. It Monday evening and I'll try to cover the weekend quickly so I can go to bed.
Saturday we went to Heidelberg, and spent the day touring the castle, and the town below. There is a long stretch of several blocks that is closed of to vehicles, and its just loaded with thousands of people. Shopping, eating, drinking. It was very cool. but nothing like the castle
The castle was built in the 1600s. The roman numiral dates looked to be about 1658. I believe, anyways. Heres some pictures.

Nice pics, thats what i love the most of all those places over there, strong castles and awsome craftsmanship on all the little details!! Oh and the cars are nothing like what ya find in the USA. Those things are iddybitty and yeah ya can stick them in your pocket when you're done driving them ;)
